What is Linxle?
Linxle is a professional QR code generation and management platform that allows you to create, customize, and track QR codes for various purposes including URLs, vCards, WiFi credentials, and more.
Is Linxle free to use?
Yes! Linxle offers a generous free plan that includes unlimited static QR codes, 3 dynamic QR codes, and basic customization options. You can upgrade to Pro for advanced features like unlimited dynamic codes and analytics.
Do I need to create an account?
An account is required to save and manage your QR codes, access dynamic features, and track analytics. However, you can try our basic QR code generator without signing up.
QR Codes
What is the difference between static and dynamic QR codes?
Static QR codes contain fixed data that cannot be changed once generated. Dynamic QR codes use a short URL that redirects to your destination, allowing you to update the destination URL anytime without reprinting the QR code.
Can I customize my QR codes?
Yes! All users can customize colors, patterns, and add logos to their QR codes. Pro users get additional customization options including gradients, custom eye shapes, and frames.
What file formats can I download?
Free users can download QR codes in PNG and JPG formats. Pro users also get access to SVG and EPS formats for professional printing and scalability.
How long do QR codes last?
Static QR codes last forever as the data is embedded in the code itself. Dynamic QR codes remain active as long as your account is active and the link is not deleted.
vCard Plus
What is vCard Plus?
vCard Plus is our flagship feature that creates a digital business card with all your contact information, including photo, social media links, and professional details. When someone scans the QR code, they can instantly save your complete contact information to their phone.
Can I update my vCard information?
Yes! vCard Plus uses dynamic QR codes, so you can update your contact information anytime without changing the QR code.
What information can I include in a vCard?
You can include personal info (name, prefix, suffix), professional details (job title, company), multiple phone numbers and emails, address, website, and social media profiles (LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram, GitHub).
Analytics & Tracking
Can I track QR code scans?
Yes! Pro users get access to detailed analytics including total scans, unique scans, geographic data, device types, and scan trends over time.
What analytics data is collected?
We collect scan timestamp, location (country/city), device type, operating system, and user agent. We do not collect personally identifiable information.
How accurate is the location data?
Location data is based on IP address geolocation, which provides country and city-level accuracy. It may not be 100% precise but gives good insights into your audience.
Pricing & Billing
How much does the Pro plan cost?
The Pro plan costs $9/month or $90/year (save 17%). You can cancel anytime and will retain access until the end of your billing period.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express) through our secure payment processor, Stripe.
Can I cancel my subscription?
Yes, you can cancel your Pro subscription anytime from your account settings. You will retain Pro features until the end of your current billing period.
What happens to my QR codes if I downgrade?
Your existing QR codes will remain active. However, you will be limited to 3 dynamic QR codes and lose access to Pro features like analytics and advanced customization.
Security & Privacy
Is my data secure?
Yes! We use bank-level security with encrypted data storage, row-level access control, and secure HTTPS connections. Your data is protected and never shared with third parties.
Do you sell my data?
Absolutely not. We never sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties. Your privacy is our priority.
Where is my data stored?
Your data is stored securely on Supabase servers with automatic backups and enterprise-grade security measures.
Technical
How fast are QR code redirects?
Our dynamic QR codes use Vercel Edge Network for lightning-fast redirects with P99 latency under 100ms globally.
Can I use custom domains?
Custom domain support is planned for a future update. Currently, all dynamic QR codes use linxle.com/q/[code] format.
Is there an API available?
API access is planned for future releases. If you need API access for your business, please contact us.
